There is 3 endings in the "Survivor" Quest
To pass "Survivor" by any of the endings you will need to do:
Human + Island = Beach and Cliffs and Forest.
Human + Forest = Bushes and Game and Tree.
Human + Cliffs = Cave and Stone.
Human + Tree = Leaves and Stick.
Leaves + Stick = Shelter.
The Map to buried treasure will be automatically added to your elements once you create the Shelter.
Stone + Stone = Spark.
Leaves + Spark = Bonfire.
Leaves + Bonfire = Smoke.
Human + Map = Hidden Treasure.
Human + Hidden Treasure = Compass and Gold and Spyglass.
Human + Spyglass = Black Sail and White Sail.
Endings: Even after picking one of the three endings you can still go back and trigger the others as well, and even discover any elements you missed.
To pass "Survivor" with ending 1, aka the good ending, you will need to do:
Smoke + White Sail = Merchants.
Human + Merchants = Salvation.
Good Ending: You are rescued by merchants and keep all your riches.
To pass "Survivor" with ending 2 you will need to do:
Smoke + Black Sail = Pirates.
Gold + Pirates = Torture
Bad Ending: The pirates abandon you on the island.
To pass "Survivor" with ending 3 you will need to do:
Human + Pirates = Death
Bad Ending: You are killed by pirates.

After creating Steak or Jerky, you will discover the Knife, which is added automatically to your list of elements.

Rope + Bones = Needle-and-Thread
Skin + Needle-and-Thread = Canvas
